The SP-300.023 professional rain gauge is the ideal solution for measuring precipitation in adverse conditions.
It has several applications in the field of meteorology.
It is designed so that the water passing through the funnel (50cm2) is directed towards a tilting bucket held by a magnet that ensures movement so that this bucket is self-emptying.
The magnet exerts enough tension to make the self-emptying movement fast and the cube can return to its initial position in less than 300ms.
The bucket is made of POM, a material that prevents dust and dirt from sticking to the scoop. This allows the collected water to be released more easily.
