The SP05108-45-L anemometer is the ideal solution for measuring wind-related parameters.

It is specifically designed to prevent ice buildup, enabling the sensor to withstand harsh alpine conditions.

It is a rigid thermoplastic instrument with stainless steel and aluminum accessories.

The bearings of this anemometer are made of ceramic, thus extending the sensor's useful life.

The design is based on a four-blade propeller. The propeller's rotation produces an alternating current sinusoidal wave with a frequency proportional to the wind speed.

This signal is induced in a coil through a six-pole magnet mounted on the propeller shaft. The coil is located in the central, non-rotating section, eliminating the need for slip rings and brushes.

Instead, wind direction is detected by the orientation of the sensor body, which is connected to an internal positioning.

The data logger applies a voltage to the potentiometer. The output is an analog voltage signal proportional to the angle of wind entry.

The anemometer is fully compatible with the Smartyplanet web platform, so data can be analyzed instantly.
