The SP05108-45-L anemometer is the ideal solution for measuring wind-related parameters.

It is specifically designed to prevent ice buildup. This allows the sensor to withstand harsh alpine conditions.

It is a rigid thermoplastic instrument with stainless steel and aluminum accessories.

The bearings of this anemometer are made of ceramic, thus extending the sensor's lifespan.

The design is based on a four-bladed propeller. The rotation of the propeller produces a sinusoidal alternating current wave whose frequency is proportional to the wind speed.

This signal is induced in a coil by a six-pole magnet mounted on the propeller shaft. The coil is located in the non-rotating central section, eliminating the need for slip rings and brushes.

In contrast, wind direction is detected by the orientation of the sensor body, which is connected to an internal positioning system.

The data logger applies an excitation voltage to the potentiometer. The output is an analog voltage signal proportional to the wind's inlet angle.

The anemometer is fully compatible with the Smartyplanet web platform so the data can be analyzed instantly.
