Pyranometer

Solar radiation measurement and data analysis with Smartyplanet

The SPR200-03 pyranometer is a high-sensitivity sensor designed for measuring solar radiation.

Its operation is based on a thermoelectric principle. The temperature difference generates an electromotive force that causes the thermoelectric effect. This effect is proportional to solar radiation.

The collected data is analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform, which is fully compatible.

The SPR200-03 pyranometer is a high-sensitivity sensor designed for measuring solar radiation.

Its operation is based on a thermoelectric principle.

Detection is carried out by means of thermopiles that are integrated into coils with multiple contacts.

The temperature difference detected between the hot and cold junction generates an electromotive force. This force, in turn, causes a thermoelectric effect that is proportional to solar radiation.

The pyranometer is easy to install and can be installed in locations with adverse conditions.

To ensure that product properties are not altered under these conditions, the instrument includes a temperature compensation circuit.

The data collected by the pyranometer is sent and analyzed thanks to its compatibility with the Smsartyplanet web platform.
