It is designed to withstand adverse weather conditions so it can be installed in remote locations.

The rain gauge works so that when one container is full, the weight of the water tilts it, causing the water to discharge and placing the other container in the collection position, ready for the next cycle.


The data collected by the sensor is recorded and analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform, as it is fully compatible.


Rain gauge maintenance is minimal and installation is simple.

The sensor consists of a collection area and a double-container scale connected to a magnet that generates an output pulse with each switch. When one container is full, the weight of the water tilts it, causing the water to be discharged and placing the other container in the collection position, ready for the next cycle.


The data collected by the sensor is recorded and analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform, as it is fully compatible.


The sensor body is made of anti-corrosive aluminum alloy and has stainless steel screws. The transducer complies with European EMC regulations, is protected against overvoltages, and fully complies with WMO (World Meteorological Organization) recommendations.
