It is designed to withstand adverse weather conditions so it can be installed in remote locations.
The rain gauge works by having one container full, where the weight of the water causes it to tilt, resulting in the water being discharged and the other container being placed in the collection position, ready to perform the next cycle.
The data collected by the sensor is recorded and analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform, as it is fully compatible.
Rain gauge maintenance is minimal and installation is simple.

The SPt027-TP500-N rain and snow gauge is the ideal solution for measuring precipitation such as rain and snow.
It is designed to withstand adverse weather conditions so it can be installed in remote locations.
The sensor consists of a collection area and a double-bowl scale connected to a magnet that generates an output pulse with each switch. When one bowl is full, the weight of the water causes it to tilt, discharging the water and placing the other bowl in the collection position, ready for the next cycle.
The data collected by the sensor is recorded and analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform, as it is fully compatible.
The sensor body is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy and stainless steel screws. The transducer complies with European EMC regulations, is protected against overvoltages, and fully meets the recommendations of the WMO (World Meteorological Organization).
