The SP-220.000 heated rain gauge is the ideal solution for measuring precipitation in adverse conditions. It features a heating system to withstand snowy conditions.
The applications of this rain gauge are installations in meteorological and hydroelectric stations or for water treatment.
It is designed so that the water that passes through the funnel (200cm2) is directed towards a tilting bucket held by a magnet that guarantees movement so that this bucket is self-emptying.
The magnet exerts enough tension so that the self-emptying movement is rapid and the cube can return to its initial position in less than 300ms.
The bucket is made of POM, a material that prevents dust and dirt from sticking to the scoop. This makes it easier to release the collected water.
At the bottom of the heated rain gauge, there is a space for a data logger. The collected data can be analyzed using the Smartyplanet web platform thanks to its full compatibility.
