At the bottom of the rain gauge there is a space for a data logger. Thanks to its full compatibility, the collected data can be analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform.

The SP-220.000 heated rain gauge is the ideal solution for measuring precipitation in adverse conditions. It features a heating system to withstand snowy conditions.
Applications for this rain gauge include installations in meteorological and hydroelectric stations, or for water treatment.
It is designed so that the water passing through the funnel (200cm2) is directed towards a tilting bucket held by a magnet that ensures movement so that this bucket is self-emptying.
The magnet exerts enough tension to make the self-emptying movement fast and the cube can return to its initial position in less than 300ms.
The bucket is made of POM, a material that prevents dust and dirt from sticking to the scoop. This allows the collected water to be released more easily.
At the bottom of the heated rain gauge there is a space for a data logger. Thanks to its full compatibility, the collected data can be analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform.
