SmartyMeteo's scientifically grade weather stations with highly precise sensors measure the following parameters every 2 seconds: ambient temperature and humidity, rainfall, heat index, dew point, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, etc.

The stations are equipped with GPRS or satellite communication capabilities to send data to the internet and are easily accessible via a web-based viewing platform. It is worth noting that satellite communication ensures data availability 98% of the time in areas where GSM mobile communication is unavailable, or when the importance of the information requires guaranteed communication. Currently, reduced costs from satellite providers through M2M systems make this technology affordable for a wide range of applications.
