Data Logger 3G

Data acquisition via 3G and data analysis with Smartyplanet

The SPM-315 data logger is an ideal solution for acquiring data via its built-in 3G modem.

It is a small, low-power recorder and is available for EMEA, APAC and NA regions.

It has a built-in internal temperature sensor, a 4GB micro SD card and a 2FF SIM card slot.

Once the data is transmitted, the Smartyplanet web platform is responsible for analyzing it thanks to its full compatibility.

The logger can be powered by an internal 3.6-volt lithium battery that will last for years when set to low-power mode. It is also possible to power the data logger using an optional integrated 3xAA NiMH photovoltaic panel or an external 8 to 30V DC power supply.

The data logger can acquire physical signals via 2 current inputs, 3 voltage inputs (1 x potentiometer) and 3 digital inputs.

It is provided with a serial port to capture measurements from ASCII, MODBUS/RTU, NMEA-0183 or SDI-12 sensors.

External sensors can be powered by the data logger itself, to avoid excessive power consumption.

Up to 8 math channels are available to calculate engineering-meaningful values derived from sensor input values.

Supports up to 8 aggregation channels. Logged data can be sent to a central host via HTTP(S), FTP(S), email (SMTP), secure TCP, or MQTT at configurable intervals. Logged data can also be optionally transmitted via satellite (Iridium SBD).

Once the data is transmitted, the Smartyplanet web platform is responsible for analyzing it thanks to its full compatibility.
