Smarty Air: Sensor Stations for air quality control
What is Smarty Air
Smarty Air is an application designed to record, display, manage alarms and share data of air quality and air pollution levels, in a simple and real time way. Collected data by sensor stations are sent to the application web.
Its modular and flexible system is always growing up and adapting to the customer’s needs. It is based on Cloud technology so there is no cost of software development and it is adaptable to all types of installations.

Smarty Air’s benefits
- Reliable and real-time knowledge of air quality levels.
- Warning and alarms of atmospheric pollutions because of leaks or system failures.
- Reading of emission gases to improve the management efficiency and its costs.
- Share data over the Internet from any fixed or mobile device.
- Easy development and management of statistics and historical data.
- Easy and quick installation and setup of the sensor network and the web platform.

Air quality assessment is defined as the result of applying any method to measure, calculate, predict or estimate the concentrations of a pollutant in ambient air or its deposition on surfaces at a given time. The assessment of air pollution is done through measurements collected by SmartyAir stations in a series of sampling points that are considered representative of each zone. In some cases the evaluation is complemented by the use of other techniques such as modeling, objective estimation, etc.
On the other hand, with all the data recorded, a process of valuation of certain levels of pollutants in the ambient air is carried out and an index of the quality of the air is established as a function of the pollutant that the worst concentration has registered, being this one from best to worst.
