Snow monitoring and data analysis with Smartyplanet
The SPF4 flowcapt sensor is the ideal solution for real-time snow monitoring. It is an acoustic instrument of very low power.
The installation can be done in remote locations where the weather conditions are difficult as it is fully sealed and has no moving parts.
The impact of snow flow and wind laminar air friction induce the change in internal sound pressure.
The two excitations are discriminated as independent signals as a result of a specific acoustic, mechanical and electronic design.
In this way, the data collected by this flow sensor are registered and analyzed by the Smartyplanet web platform as it is fully compatible.
